We offer weed control and fertilization services all throughout Leelanau County and Traverse City. Knowing exactly what your lawn needs to give it a beautiful thick, green, and weed free appearance while being 100% safe for kids and pets requires expertise.

Spinniken Lawn & Irrigation is licensed to apply weed control and fertilization on properties in Leelanau and Traverse City by the Michigan.

Our Lawn Care Approach

Customers can choose between 3-6 applications per year, keeping in mind that the more applications that Spinniken’s does the better the lawn will look. At Spinniken Lawn we do not use a cookie cutter approach to lawn care, each property that we treat gets individually analyzed throughout the year to determine what would be best for that lawn.

Below we have listed our application schedule, which often needs to change depending on environmental factors.

I. Spring Application

Slow Release granular fertilizer, Crabgrass control, liquid weed control

II. Late Spring Application

Slow Release granular fertilizer, granular weed control (Crabgrass control if needed)

III. Summer Application

Slow Release granular Fertilizer, granular weed control, spot liquid weed control

IV. Late Summer Application

Slow Release granular Fertilizer, granular weed control, spot liquid weed control

V. Fall Application

Slow release granular fertilizer, liquid weed control

VI. Late Fall Application

Slow release granular fertilizer, liquid weed control
