Prepaying in 2022
We appreciate you considering to prepay any amount in 2022, we have rising costs to keep our amazing employees and this prepayment will help us get through the costly spring. In your “renewal letter” we have given you a suggested prepay amount. This amount is a guesstimate of what you will spend in 2022 calculated by taking your total spent in 2021 and adding an 8% increase. Below are 4 options that you have in relation to prepaying in 2022
1. Prepay all of 2022
We can not guarantee that any amount will prepay the entire year in 2022 because there are too many unknown variable such as irrigation fixes or additional mows needed. Saying that, if you would like to attempt to prepay the entire year please take the suggested prepay amount in your renewal letter and subtract 3%. Then please send this amount in a check with a note saying (2022 prepay minus 3%). If your property does not need as many services as 2021 you will have a credit at the end of the year that you can hold on your account or request a check sent to you.
2. Prepaying a portion in 2022
We will explain prepaying a portion instead of the entire suggested 2022 prepay amount with an example. For example, if you have a suggested prepay amount for 2022 of $2000 you could instead choose to send in $1000 with a note that says partial prepay for 2022. We will use the $1000 prepaid amount on each bill and reduce that bill by 3% of its cost. We will use the $1000 until it has been used in full and then we will begin to send you bills again. You can request to get all your bills marked as paid sent to you.
3. Pay as you go in 2022
If you decide to pay as you go we will simply send you monthly bills with all of the services we have performed on your property with no 3% discount.
Prepay FAQ
Do you still offer Bronze, Silver, and Gold Irrigation plans?
-Yes! As a reminder the Bronze plan is turn on turn off of the irrigation only. The silver plan is turn on, one mid season check, and winterization. Finally the Gold plan is turn on, 2 mid season checks, and winterization. If you would like a specfiic irrigation plan simply let us know by phone, email or mail and we will put you on the list. If you have not prepaid we will charge you monthly if you have prepaid funds in your account we will use those funds with a 3% discount on all services.
Why did you change your prepay system?
-We decided to change because we felt we were over complicating our prepayment. Now If you have not prepaid we will charge you monthly if you have prepaid funds in your account we will use those funds with a 3% discount on all services.
When is the prepay due?
Prepayments are all due by April 15th 2022 in order to get the 3% discount.
Why might I still receive an invoice at the end of the year If I prepaid for the entire year?
-Unfortunately we can not guesstimate exactly how much each customer will spend in 1 year. This is simply because we can not guess how many mowings you will need or how much in irrigation repair you might need etc. Saying that we will attempt to keep your cost to the amount prepaid if you attempt to pay the entire year.
We did a large project in 2021, will that effect the “recommended prepay amount for 2022”?
Yes, the recommended prepay amount is a automatically generated figure for you to use to get an idea of what to pay for 2022 if you would like to prepay. Please keep in mind that if you did a large project and don’t plan another project we recommend you contact Matt for a more custom estimate of what you might spend in 2022.
